Valentine's Day in Caruthers
I had the pleasure of DJing for Hannah and Forrest on Valentine's Day at the Caruther's Fairgrounds for their special wedding day. This was my first wedding event for 2015 and also my first event since the theft of a lot of my DJ equipment that happend before Christmas. I can say I'm fully recovered from the loss at least in the DJ items department but let's get back in to the mix of things here. I created a short video above to showcase the event and as a quick promo. I expect to do a bit more of these and blog entries as I have BIG PLANS brewing.
My little brother in law Aaron which you'll see in the background helped me load, unload, and set up the uplights and essentially just loves music so he's of great help in the events. We kicked off the event with some classic tunes for the cocktail hour and ripped open the dance floor with Bruno Mar's Uptown Funk! Hannah the bride was dancing all night! The decor was very elegant with great attention to detail from the back drop for a photo booth type of set up to the antique key style bottle openers that were given away before the toast.
The maid of honor Rachel gave one of the most epic toasts as she said
"DJ drop the beat!" and I scratched in the Fresh Prince of Bel Air's instrumental beat. She had the guests clapping in grooving!
The newlyweds made an early exit to their honeymoon destination but guests kept grooving until it was all she wrote.
Thank you Rachel for booking my services and Thank you Hannah and Forrest for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
